Anna writes: Praise report! The police arrested the drivers of the truck [which had entered her property a couple of weeks back] today and brought them to Thondwe so we could meet with them.
And…it turns out their story [they claimed to be investigating poor cell network coverage in the area] is actually true! So they have been cleared and we are feeling relieved.
Note: We are truly thankful for this outcome. Although the threat was not as initially expected, the “jungle drums” will no doubt carry the message that you can’t get in and out of the area without being monitored – and that is a really good thing.
Please continue to pray for the safety and security of the team in the difficult months ahead – the economic situation is still dire and crime continues to be a serious threat.
