The roots of SALT’s work run deep. In 2002, Stephen & Gail Harper made their first, exploratory visit to Malawi, making their home there the following year.
In 2018 they founded SALT to facilitate the ongoing growth of the Gospel Literature and other work in Malawi. The Lord has richly blessed that decision, and the Gospel work in Malawi continues to grow beyond expectation.
Stephen’s experience of Malawi, her people, their customs and language continue to be very important to the work SALT is doing for the Lord in Malawi. However, we are very grateful for the experience, insights and additional skills our other board members bring. We are particularly thankful for the unique abilities of our colleagues in Malawi, without whom the work could not go forward.
