  • Thanksgiving: Encouragement from Child-Headed Households

    Anna reports that an older girl from our program with child-headed households has started coming to Bible study without any prompting from us. She has been one of the tougher ones to connect with. Please pray for her salvation.

  • Pray: Flooding following Tropical Storm Ana

    Tropical Storm Ana passed through the region from 22-25 January.  Ana caused numerous fatalities (especially in Madagascar) and left tens of thousands displaced. (Source Reliefweb) The Government of Malawi estimates that almost 220,000 (48,000 households) are affected in Malawi. The worst affected areas are in the Mulanje and Nsanje districts. These are both areas where we have active literature distribution volunteers. The Government has declared a State of Disaster in the affected areas.   • Pray: Health and Safety on site

    Dumisani, one of the workers operating the block moulding, machine has injured a finger this morning. Please pray for him, and for the health and safety of other workers on the site. I don’t know many more details.

  • Pray: Direction & Focus for 2022

    Anna asks that you pray for a clear sense of direction and focus as the new year begins. There are so many opportunities but only limited resources, so we would all appreciate your prayer in this respect.

  • Pray: Anna’s Work Permit (Repost)

    Please pray that Anna’s Work Permit, which has been outstanding for several months now, will be approved very soon. She returned from her visit to Zambia, but is now in the country on a Visitor’s Visa only.

  • Pray: Health of those injured in the lightning strike

    Brother Goodson requests prayers for his son who was in the Msasa at the time of the lightning strike. He has a sore back and visited the hospital for some medication for it. The man who had an injured leg is able to walk now though still recovering, so prayers for him would be appreciated too. A Sad Day at Saidi

    On the morning after the fire, Brother Harold sent this message of encouragement. We searched out some photos and video from the conference he refers to. It’s so encouraging to know that the Lord has been working in people’s lives.
