By the grace of God, apart from the missed connection on the outbound journey, Stephen’s latest visit to Malawi has been without further incident. Please pray for the rest of his visit, and for travelling mercies as he begins the journey home on Wednesday.
Specifically:
- He has had sore throat and other cold-like symptoms for a few days, which he is fairly certain is just because of the cold weather and dry / dusty air this time of year. However, his host in Blantyre appears to be suffering from Covid, so please pray that Stephen will stay Covid-free and be able to travel as planned.
- At last there is some progress with the Isuzu truck that has been off the road for over 3 years. During the past week, the engine has been reassembled and fitted. Please pray that the mechanic (“S”) will keep his word and finish the job. Particularly, pray that the latest issue (clutch) can be resolved and the vehicle tested for Certificate of Fitness before Stephen leaves.
- Pray for resolution of ongoing snagging issues with the security systems at the Saidi site.
