Points for Thanksgiving & Praise

  • Give thanks: School visits resumed

    Anna asks us to give thanks for continued freedom to work in public schools. Visits restarted this week after the holiday break and a good quantity of literature was distributed to pupils.

  • Thanksgiving: Encouragement from Child-Headed Households

    Anna reports that an older girl from our program with child-headed households has started coming to Bible study without any prompting from us. She has been one of the tougher ones to connect with. Please pray for her salvation.

  • Give thanks for God’s blessing on the Christmas program

    A wonderful Christmas program. Very many children attended and received a wholesome meal, a gift of some basic necessities (rice, soap, coming oil, etc) as well as hearing a presentation of the Gospel

  • Give Thanks – Dzaleka Trip

    Give thanks for a safe and enjoyable trip to and from Dzaleka for Anna & Wati

  • Give Thanks: Rain

    Give thanks for the arrival of rain in time to avoid the maize crop being overstressed – pray that good rains will continue

  • Give thanks for strengthening relationships

    Anna says, give thanks for continued help that has been given to build relationships with my neighbors and the orphans

  • Praise: Workers attending Bible study on Wednesday!

    It was encouraging to see so many of the site workers attending the Wednesday afternoon Bible Study. Many of them also heard the Gospel at the recent short series of Gospel meetings, so pray that lives will be impacted.
