As Stephen, Gail, Anna, and Goodson travel to Johannesburg from Monday to Thursday, we would value your prayers for their journey and their work. They hope to source hardware and supplies for the building project, as well as bedding and essential items for the conference accommodation.

Please also pray for favour and fruitful meetings as Stephen connects with potential building‑material suppliers. May the Lord guide each decision, provide needed resources, and grant safety throughout their travels.

Later this week, Stephen and Gail will be travelling to Malawi, where they expect to spend around one month supporting the work on the ground.

Please pray for safe travel, good health, and smooth connections as they journey. Pray also that their time in Malawi would be fruitful, marked by encouragement, wisdom, and strength as they work alongside the local team.

A key focus during this period will be the ongoing distribution of the Gospel Calendar. We are thankful that a significant number of calendars have already been distributed in the southern region of Malawi. In the days ahead, attention will increasingly shift toward the Central and Northern regions.

Please pray for:

  • Open doors as calendars continue to be shared
  • Protection and energy for those involved in distribution
  • Hearts that are receptive to the message of God’s Word
  • Good coordination as focus moves to new regions

We ask for prayer as the final work is completed on installing a replacement second-hand engine in our Mitsubishi Canter truck.

The work is now substantially done, but a number of modifications have been required along the way. Please pray that these adjustments will prove successful, that no further issues arise, and that the vehicle can soon be returned to reliable and useful service.

This truck plays an important role in transporting Gospel literature and supporting day-to-day ministry operations. Thank you for praying with us for a good outcome and God’s provision in this practical need.

We ask for prayer as we begin the task of distributing around 1,000,000 Gospel calendars that have just been received in Malawi.

Over the next few weeks, these calendars will be supplied to our literature distributors across the entire country—reaching towns, villages, and remote rural areas. This represents a major logistical challenge, involving long distances, limited transport, rising fuel costs, and careful coordination.

We are constantly encouraged by the feedback we receive of souls saved and lives transformed through this work. These testimonies motivate us to keep going, despite the challenges, trusting God to continue using His Word to bring lasting fruit.

Please pray for safety, strength, and wisdom for all involved, and that this literature would be used by God to bring light, hope, and truth into many homes and hearts.

Please pray this week as Anna returns to Malawi after several weeks in the United States. She will be accompanied by her brother, who will visit for a couple of weeks. Please pray for safe travel, good health, and a refreshing, encouraging time together.

We also value prayer for Stephen and Gail, who will be travelling to Malawi towards the end of the month. Please pray for smooth journeys, protection, and strength for all that lies ahead.

We would value your prayers as a major consignment of over 2 million Gospel calendars and tracts is due to arrive imminently in Malawi.

According to the shipping company’s tracking system, the container was loaded onto a train in Mozambique on 30 December 2025 and is now en route toward the Malawian border. Please pray for smooth, speedy customs clearance, with no unexpected delays, complications, or additional costs, so that this urgently needed literature can quickly reach those who are waiting for it.

We are continually humbled by the scale of opportunity before us. Even with shipments of this size, we estimate that we are currently meeting only around 25% (or less) of the demand for Gospel literature across Malawi. As we look ahead into the year before us, we would deeply appreciate prayer for wisdom, clarity, and the Lord’s direction as we consider how best to further scale up this work — logistically, financially, and operationally — while remaining faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to us.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer, asking the Lord both to open doors for this immediate consignment and to guide our steps as we seek to see His Word carried ever further throughout Malawi.

Please pray:

  1. For safe, trouble-free travel for Anna as she sets off today for a few weeks at home. Pray that she will have a blessed time with family and that she will be able to successfully complete the renewal of her Driver’s License while home.
  2. For speedy arrival of a 20ft Container of Gospel Calendars and other literature. The container has just left Mauritius en route to Nacala, Mozambique, and is expected to arrive there later this week.
  3. For the arrival and installation of the second-hand engine for our Mitsubishi Canter Truck. With building work advancing, this vehicle is now needed urgently. The truck carrying the engine is presently at the Zimbabwe border.
  4. For the building work – the Toilet & Shower block is now at “Ring Beam” level and brick work is commencing on the first dormitory. Work is ahead of schedule, but threatened by frequent heavy showers. Stephen will be ordering steel and other roofing materials from South Africa this week – pray that the order is processed accurately and timely, before closure for the Christmas holidays.
  5. For continued good rains, essential for a healthy maize crop, especially after several stressed years. A few weeks ago the Malawi president declared a state of disaster because of the acute food insecurity across the country. The rains have been consistent, so far.

Please continue to pray for relief of the ongoing economic crisis in Malawi. Fuel is in extremely short supply, with unbelievably long queues when filling stations are supplied. People have been seen fist-fighting over their place in the line.

Other locally-grown commodities like sugar and cooking oil are not available, presumably as producers export in order to obtain much-need foreign currency. This has been going on for many months now, and has a really debilitating effect.

Please also pray for the arrival of the used engine we purchased from South Africa for our 2-Ton Mitsubishi truck which has been laid up now for many months. The engine has been delayed for several weeks – we suspect it has also been affected by the fuel shortage.

Please EARNESTLY pray concerning the arrival of a shipment of 3 Roller Doors that were sent from N.Ireland 7 months ago but have not quite reached Saidi yet.

Tom plans to help install this during his time in Malawi, but the information last week was that they are still in Customs in Lilongwe. Please pray that they will clear customs very imminently and be with us in time for Tom to complete this project.

Note: Stephen will travel Tuesday / Wednesday. Samuel & John, Tom & Debbie, and Jeff and Cameron will all travel at difference times over the following days. Pray that the Lord will grant safe and trouble-free travel, as well as a profitable time in Malawi.
